Joplin’s Tash finishes career as most accurate passer in Missouri history

JOPLIN, Mo. – According to MSHSAA, Joplin senior quarterback Blake Tash officially holds the title of the most accurate high school quarterback in Missouri history.

A new record was just submitted! Completion Percentage over a Career (minimum of 300 attempts): Blake Tash from Joplin, Record is 73.6%. This is from 2017-2019. This currently ranks #1.

Tash completed 73.6% of his passes in his career at Joplin High School. This season he was 197-260 (75.8%), throwing for 2,787 yards and 32 touchdowns, leading the Eagles to a state runner-up finish in the Missouri Class 6 playoffs.

As a junior, Tash completed 141 of 203 passes (69.5%) for 1,732 yards and 16 touchdowns.

His sophomore season, he was 199-267 (74.5%) passing, racking up 2,072 yards and 15 touchdowns.
