Joplin’s Glades commits to Missouri Southern football
Nathan Glades rushed for 1,458 yards and 24 touchdowns last fall for the Eagles.
JOPLIN, Mo. – Joplin High School football standout Nathan Glades is staying in Joplin.
Glades announced on Saturday night via social media that he will be continuing his football career with the Missouri Southern Lions next season.
Glades did it all for Joplin his senior season. He rushed for 1,458 yards and 24 touchdowns, while catching 29 passes for 326 yards and another score. Glades was also dangerous in the return game for the Eagles, averaging 46 yards per kick return and 44 yards per punt return.
Glades earned 1st team All-State recognition as a return specialist, while earning 2nd-team honors as a running back.
