Joplin’s Freeman Hospital bringing back daily briefings
JOPLIN, Mo. – Freeman Health System is bringing back their daily briefings to keep people informed as the 4-State area sees a rise in Coronavirus cases.
The briefings will start again at 11 AM on Thursday, June 2nd.
Officials with Freeman also say that so far, the hospital has been able to manage the uptick in cases.
“I think that Freeman Health System is managing it very well. We have capacity for those patients. We have all the protective equipment that we need. We have physicians and nurses to care for them. So I think we are managing it very well, ” said Freeman Health System’s Paula Baker.
In early June, Freeman stopped screening every person who entered their hospitals.
