Joplin’s Davis named Missouri Player of the Year, Westmoreland 1st team All-State
Isaiah Davis rushed for 2,000+ yards this season
JOPLIN, Mo. — Joplin’s Isaiah Davis has been named the MaxPreps Missouri Player of the Year.
Davis rushed for 2,283 yards and a state-best 45 touchdowns this season for the Eagles. He topped 200 yards in a game four times, with a season high of 310 against Kirkwood.
Joplin senior wide receiver Zach Westmoreland has been named 1st team All-State by MaxPreps. Westmoreland had 106 catches on the season for 1,631 yards and 21 touchdowns. He tallied 100+ receiving yards in every playoff game for Joplin on their way to a state runner-up finish.
