Joplin man dies in motorcycle crash
JOPLIN, Mo. – A Joplin man’s life is claimed in a two-vehicle crash.

The incident happened on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Around 12:36 a.m., the Joplin Police Department responded to a crash near the intersection of Highway FF and Reinmiller Road involving a van and motorcycle.
According to Police, their preliminary investigation showed the van was traveling west on Highway FF and tried to turn south onto Reinmiller Road. At that time, a motorcycle traveling east on Highway FF hit the van as it turned south.
The driver of the motorcycle, Trea Greer, 25, of Joplin, died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities have notified next of kin.
The Joplin Police Department major crash team is currently investigating this incident and further details will be released if they become available.
