Joplin Police SWAT secure residence on Ruby Way for JPD investigators
Capt William Davis tells us they served a search warrant at the residence regarding an ongoing criminal investigation
JOPLIN, Mo. – Just after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, tipsters told us Joplin SWAT were active in the Freeman Grove Neighborhood of south Joplin.
On our arrival to 3420 S Ruby Way, Joplin SWAT had secured the residence and some occupants were detained for questioning.
Capt William Davis of the Joplin Police Dept tells us Joplin SWAT served a search warrant at the residence on behalf of JPD Detectives in an ongoing criminal investigation.
No one was injured securing the residence in a ‘contain and call out‘ by SWAT officers. Everyone cooperated, coming out of the home after a short time.
Many occupants were released quickly. Others were still being detained in the street as detectives and officers executed the search warrant.
No one is arrested at this time or charged at the initial printing of this article.
