Joplin School Board approves returning high school students to full time learning
JOPLIN, Mo. – The Joplin School Board met tonight to hear a proposal to return high school students to school full time.
The proposal was put together by the Joplin High School Principal, Dr. Stephen Gilbreth. It phases out the current A-B schedule the school is on and begins to return students to school full time.
The plan was approved by the board with all in favor and begins March 1st. At that time, the freshman class will return to school five days a week, followed by the sophomore class on March 8th, the junior class on March 15th, and the senior class following spring break on March 29th.
