Joplin Salvation Army reaches Christmas goal

“God has blessed us with donors and volunteers giving from their hearts. As of today, January 23, 2019, we have reached our Christmas goal! We are excited to share this with the community as it is the first time since 2012 that we have accomplished this goal.”

The Salvation Army in Joplin had a goal of $255,000 and thanks to donors and the Christmas challenge from Mr. and Mrs. Anonymous of $10,000, the organization has exceeded that goal.

“We are so thankful for the donors who gave $10 up to $20,000 to help us to continue doing the most good in Joplin and the surrounding communities. We have been blessed with $260,109.90 plus gifts in kind for the children, families and seniors in our community. Thank you for believing in our mission and the work we do! We celebrate serving in Joplin this year 130 years! We couldn’t do it without all of you!”
