Joplin protesters object to recent SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe V. Wade
JOPLIN, Mo. – Some 4-State residents met today to protest the recent SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe V. Wade.
The group met today at 7th and Rangeline.
Protesters say they feel that basic human rights are being infringed upon and more could follow.
“We are getting a lot of thumbs up and we see a lot of young people supporting our cause,” said Tina Carl, Protest Participant. “I can see that people are happy that we’re here, but I’m kind of surprised that we’re here because this was kind of a spontaneous thing. We’re very encouraged by our turnout and support.”
