Joplin Police release more details about armed robbery at mall
JOPLIN, Mo – Joplin police release more information about an armed robbery at the North Park Mall on November 30th.
Police say three of four suspects held a couple at gunpoint and demanded their wallets. The suspects then left in a car which police later found driving north on Range Line.
After a short chase, three suspects ran from the vehicle while another stayed inside.
The three suspects who ran were later caught. One suspect was found hiding in the laundry room of a house on Zora.
Police say one suspect is from Joplin and three others, including one juvenile, are from Danville, Illinois.
Authorities have not yet filed formal charges.
