Joplin man who said he was “thinking about committing genocide” pleads guilty

 

JOPLIN, Mo. – Colt Scott, the man who posted on Facebook that he was “thinking about committing genocide” in Downtown Joplin pleads down to a lesser charge of misdemeanor peace disturbance.

Scott was originally charged with 3rd-degree terrorist threat.

The judge gave Scott a 6-month sentence that was then suspended.
