Joplin man wanted in weekend shooting
Harbin is considered armed and extremely dangerous
JOPLIN, Mo. – Joplin Police are looking for Tyrell D. Harbin, 27, and consider him to be armed and extremely dangerous. Authorities suspect him in a non-fatal shooting.
The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed first degree assault and armed criminal action charges against Harbin. Police say there is an active ‘no bond’ warrant for Harbin.

The shooting happened Saturday, July 18, 2020. Joplin officers responded to 2925 E. 9th Street around 5:52 p.m. for a report of a shooting. They got there and found a female with an apparent gunshot wound. EMS took her to Freeman Hospital in critical condition.
Police say a male suspect reportedly ran from the area before officers got there.
