Joplin honors 4-State veterans
JOPLIN, Mo. — Downtown Joplin was flooded with patriotic pride Saturday morning for the 32nd Annual Veterans Day Parade. More than ninety floats made their way down Main Street, and KOAM’s very own Jesse Irwin helped carry the day along as an emcee.
Flags waved and people cheered on area marching bands. For veterans in attendance, the event shows that the community cares about their service.
“I wish everybody had to serve. You know, it’ll make ya or break ya,” said local Navy veteran Paul Mosbaugh.
KOAM also had a float in the parade and was proud to honor our 4-State heroes.
