Joplin High School Constitution team raising funds for national competition

Joplin High School’s 14-member Constitution team is working toward a $24,000 goal to help pay for their trip to the We the People national finals in Washington D.C. April 25-28. At the national finals, they will take part in simulated congressional hearings where they must testify as constitutional experts and be judged by a panel of experts who act as a congressional committee. In addition to testifying, they must answer questions that probe their depth of knowledge and their ability to apply constitutional principals. To help raise funds, the team is looking for opportunities to share information about their organization and their work preparing for the national competition.
