JOPLIN, Mo. – The Joplin Health Department reports the death of a Joplin resident. The Department says coronavirus was a “significant condition contributing to this death.”

The individual is a 79-year-old male. This announcement brings the total count to 23 deaths related to COVID-19 in Joplin.
