JOPLIN, Mo. — The 18th annual Joplin Fallen Officers Memorial golf scramble will be held at Briarbrook Golf Course in Carl Junction on September 2, 2022.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Joplin Explores program and the memorial scholarships for Jake Reed and Ben Cooper.

This will be the 18th annual tournament honoring the sacrifice made by Officer Tim Nielson, who died in the line of duty in September of 2004. With the passing of Corporal Ben Cooper and Officer Jake Reed in March of 2022, the tournament will now recognize the sacrifice made by all three officers.

There will be two different tee off times, 8:00 AM or 1:30 PM. The tournament will be a 4 person scramble. The cost is $260 per team ($65 per person).

Lunch will start at 12:00 pm. Teams from the second tee off will be able to eat at 12:00pm. Participants from the first tee off will be provided lunch at the completion of their round.

To register a team, please contact Brett Davis at (417) 438-1761 bdavis@joplinmo.org

Please share and help make this event a great success. This tournament is open to all.
