Independence Day Severe Thunderstorms Possible for Parts of the North-Central U.S.

Severe thunderstorms capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes, are possible across the Northern High Plains today, stretching into parts of the Central Plains. Above average temperatures will stretch across much of the Nation to the east of the Central to Southern Rockies. Below average temperatures will be confined to the Northern Plains and Rockies into the Southwest.
