Improving setup for this week

A few things to watch closely, though

Our new week starts out with our current storm system beginning to move on today. This will have a few waves of light snow that will work in early Monday morning and late morning/early afternoon. After that, the system moves on and we’ll keep quiet for Tuesday. However, after we deal with highs around 3 for Monday, lows for Tuesday morning will drop back to -11. That’s bitterly cold air we haven’t seen in recent memory since January 2014. Not only that, Tuesday morning’s lows will shatter the old record low of 2 set back in 1903. Even with partly sunny skies and a light east (sometimes southeast) breeze, highs will only climb into the teens for Tuesday. We have another wave on the way for Wednesday that wants to bring snow chances back into the area. Once that system moves on for Thursday, we’ll head back above freezing for the weekend with maybe some rain chances by next Sunday.
