Honey Creek Bridge in Lawrence County to close August 8
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. – County officials announced the closing of Route K and Honey Creek Bridge just north of Aurora, Mo.
The county released the following traffic impacts beginning August 8:
- All Route K lanes CLOSED over Honey Creek around the clock for up to two weeks for initial repairs
- After initial repairs, all Route K lanes CLOSED 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday for up 10 weeks
- All Route K lanes OPEN at night and weekends
- Drivers will have access to driveways and field entrances at either end of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone
- No signed detour
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the work zone
- Drivers should find an alternate route
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
