Heavy Rainfall Across Parts of the Southeast; Critical Fire Weather Conditions Persist in the West

National Outlook for Friday

Heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding will persist across portions of the Southeast. Meanwhile, critical fire weather conditions continue over the Rockies and into Utah and northern Arizona. The Pacific Northwest will see another round of rainfall and gusty winds before the weather gradually improves on Saturday. Above normal temperatures are expected over much of the Plains and Midwest.
