Heartland’s Carriker fights to draw, Cooper suffers first loss Saturday night at Buffalo Run Casino

Buffalo Run Casino hosted World Fighting Championships 124 Saturday night at Buffalo Run Casino. Two local pro’s fought Saturday, with Ethan Cooper and Joseph Carriker (Heartland Boxing Gym) in action.

In the main event, Carriker (3-0-2) and Cesar Marquez (1-0-2) fought to a draw in their second straight fight.

Heartland’s Ethan Cooper suffered his first professional loss Saturday. Cody Nieto-Clark defeated Cooper by knockout at 2:52 in the first round. You can watch the whole fight below.

Tulsa’s David Perez won his professional debut Saturday night, beating Gabriel Tacu by decision. Below are highlights from that fight.

In the other two fights Saturday night, Teagan Dooley won a heavyweight battle against Kirk Blunt by unanimous decision. Shauncy Perry also won by unanimous decision over Aaron Roberson.
