The experts at alcohol.org are warning people against drinking excessively while they are staying at home.

They conducted a survey of 3000 couples, and found that 13% of Kansans polled admit to arguing often when one or both have been drinking alcohol.

Their experts say that anxiety often creates the desire to self-medicate, but they still want people to drink only in moderation, or even better, find healthier ways to blow off steam.

They recommend taking a break from social media, and making sleep and exercise a priority instead of pouring a drink. Alcohol.org has a lot of advice concerning alcohol safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, and you can find it right here.
