Habitat for Humanity welcomes Veteran into new home

JOPLIN, Mo. – Habitat for Humanity in Joplin today held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest house on Empire Street in Joplin.

Habitat for Humanity, in conjunction with Build With Strength and General Mills, welcomed Marine Veteran Tim Peay and his family to their new home.

The Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity partnered with The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s (NRMCA) Build With Strong Coalition to build an insulated concrete form (ICF) home.

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Tim and his family have the go-ahead to move in tomorrow, September 21.
