12 college students on a cross-country tour to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease traveled through the 4-States on Thursday.

The group, made up of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity brothers from Kentucky stopped Erie, KS and Joplin.

The group stared in California, and has been on the road since May 24th. They hope to make it to Washington by July 18th.

One biker told us, the journey has been long, but fulfilling.

“It has been tough but I don’t think it has been completely overwhelming. I think we have been able to rally around each other and help each other out. It is easier when you have nine other guys around you that are struggling just as you are,” said Robert Lucas.
