Good food and good times at the Neosho Farmers Market
NEOSHO, Mo. – Saturday’s sunny weather made for a good day at the farmers market, and that’s exactly what plenty of 4-Staters were up to in Neosho.
There was no shortage of local produce and other foods, locally made crafts and other fun gifts, and even some live music for visitors to enjoy.
One of the vendors stepped away from selling freshly baked bread and other treats to tell KOAM what makes meeting prospective customers at the farmers market such a valuable experience.
“The best part about markets for me is interactions with the people. Meeting hundreds of new people in a day is great. You get to see where they come from, what they’re doing, and just having a great conversation is a fun time,” said Jamie Smith, owner of Redings Mill Bread.
