GoFundMe setup for family of a hospitalized Carl Junction boy
CARL JUNCTION, Mo. – The family of a 12-year-old non-verbal boy with autism in Carl Junction needs your help.
The boy suffered second and third-degree burns all over his body after an accident. He’s in a Springfield hospital getting treatment, and that’s where you come in. His parents, Stephanie Castleberry and her wife Brandy need help with covering the expenses from treatment, trips back and forth to Springfield and food costs. All those expenses are piled on the costs of caring for six adopted children, all who have special needs.
They never asked for help, but a family friend is stepping up anyway. They’ve set up a GoFundMe page to help cover expenses.
“It takes special people to adopt six children,” says family friend Sharon Clark. “It takes really special people to adopt six special needs children. And I think these two deserve everything this community could give them and then some”
The GoFundMe page raised $4,700 as of Jan. 27. To donate click the link below.
