Gift of Light, Gift of Love lighting ceremony

JOPLIN, Mo. – Dancing and other entertainment were part of The Ronald McDonald House tree lighting ceremony.

The organization hosted its ceremony on social media with a pre-recorded lighting ceremony. Workers at the Ronald McDonald House of the 4-States say holiday cheer is especially important for people staying at the house.

This was the 20th Annual Ronald McDonald House Charities’ Gift of Light, Gift of Love tree lighting event.

The Ronald McDonald House, located in Joplin, is open to families of seriously ill children ages 0-21 and ill expectant mothers being treated at Freeman Health System and Mercy Hospital.
