“Galentine’s Day” event supports fun and a good cause

JOPLIN, Mo. – Friends are getting in on the fun of Valentine’s Day while supporting a good cause.

The Ramsey Center in Joplin hosted some friend-focused fun. Freeman Auxiliary put on “Galentine’s Day” sip and shop. Proceeds went to Freeman Health System’s Helping Friends Mammogram Program.

For $25, women were treated to wine, food and shopping at downtown businesses.
