Galena’s Booth signs with Bethany football
Booth is a 1st team All-CNC wide receiver
GALENA, Kan. — Galena High School senior Blake Booth signed his letter of intent to play college football on Monday at Galena High School.
Booth signed to go to the NAIA and play for the Bethany Swedes.
“It’s really exciting,” Booth says, “I’ve been working for this my whole life. I’m glad I did it finally. It’s..a great opportunity. The campus was really nice. It’s a great place and atmosphere.”
He has been recruited to play wide receiver at Bethany.
Last season for the Bulldogs, Booth caught 23 passes for 415 yards and 2 touchdowns. He earned 1st team All-CNC honors as well as 1st team All-Area recognition.
“I like to be a team player,” Booth adds, “I just want to make sure the team wins.”
