Frontenac residents celebrate 23 years of supporting their students and heritage

FRONTENAC, Kan. – The city of Frontenac is continuing a twenty-three-year tradition of helping out its students while celebrating the town’s heritage.

The City today hosted Festa Italiana which helps local Frontenac students in the form of a scholarship.

The event features plenty of Italian food and a bit of German food and locals say all proceeds go towards funding scholarships for graduating seniors and other students as well.

Money raised from the Festa goes to a service scholarship as well as a scholarship in one of the founder’s honor.
