Friday Night Blog: Looking at our next storm systems
Looking at our next storm systems
Good Friday night! I hope you had a great week and of course looking forward to the weekend. We are having a Christmas party at my house tomorrow, so I need to get home and clean here after work. Besides that, I am looking forward to temperatures warming up a bit tomorrow.
Take a look at the radar below.
Here is a look at your Saturday forecast.
Most of Sunday looks good, but we will have more clouds and a few random showers late in the day.
This system really develops on top of us. So again, a few random showers on Monday. This system will really get going just east of the region.
We have another weak system late next week that could give us a few showers on Thursday and Friday. However, the pattern will pick back up. Not really next week, but the following week. We have a bigger system rolling in on the 17th and 18th, then again on the 20th, another one on the 23rd. We are going to get some winter weather shots right around the corner.
Long range forecast through late next January:
Next Week: A disorganized storm system on Sunday and Monday with a few showers. We will cool down the the rest of the week with highs mainly in the 40s. Slight chances for showers on Thursday and Friday.
December 15th – 21st: A cool to cold week with rain chances on Monday and Tuesday. We could mix with some wintry weather late in this system. Another system on Friday and Saturday with rain over snow by Friday.
December 22nd – 28th: Mainly a cold week with rain and snow chances on Sunday and Monday. Some light snow could linger into Christmas Eve. Another system with rain and snow chances on Friday and Saturday.
December 29th – January4th: Mainly another cold week. Just a slight chance for rain on Thursday and Saturday with weak fast moving waves.
January 5th – 11th: Rain, snow and ice chances to start the week. Then mainly cold again with rain and snow chances on Thursday. A fast wave over the weekend with a few rain or snow showers.
January 12th-18th: A cool start to the week with mild temperatures for the middle of the week. A weak mid-week wave with a few showers. Bigger system moves in by the weekend.
