Friday Blog: Warming up and our next thunderstorm chances. -Doug

Thankfully, the rain is out of here for a while.  We need a chance to dry out.  Friday looks great with highs in the mid 70s.

We will see a weak wave zoom past us Saturday morning.  This will give us a few clouds and a slight shot for a random shower.

Saturday Morning

But by the afternoon, it looks great once again.

Saturday Pm

Our next system won’t roll in until Tuesday night as a complex of thunderstorms head toward us.

Tuesday Night

Even though I don’t see any severe weather during the next week, we still have about 3 weeks to go of official severe weather season.  Here is a look at the low threats by mid week next week.

Month Long

Long range forecast is below.

Next Thursday -Saturday:  Warm with some scattered thunderstorms on Thursday and still a slight chance Friday and Saturday.

June 5th-11th:  Warm all week long. Slight t-storm chances Sunday. Watching for slight t-storm chances Tuesday and better t-storm chances Wednesday. Both days could have a severe threat. We’ll watch for additional slight t-storm chances and a severe threat for both Friday and Saturday.

June 12th-18th: Warm Sunday before we heat up for Monday through Wednesday. Warm from Thursday into the weekend. Slight t-storm chances with a severe threat Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We’ll have better t-storm chances with another severe threat for Thursday before we dry out for the weekend.

June 19th-25th: With the exception of a warm Tuesday, mainly hot for the week. We’ll have slight t-storm chances with a possible severe threat on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

June 26th-July 2nd:  A hot start with a warm middle and hot end of the week.  Scattered storms on Sunday, Monday, Friday and Saturday.
