Freeman OccuMed expands Carthage clinic hours

JOPLIN, Mo.–FreemanOccuMed has expanded its clinic hours in Carthage. Due to patient demand, Dr.Rick Haggard, Freeman Occupational Medicine Physician; Linda Sitton, FreemanNurse Practitioner; and Kathryn Charlton, Freeman Nurse Practitioner, will seepatients an additional day each week.
Freeman OccuMed offersa full range of occupational medicine services, including drug and alcoholtesting, various levels of physical exams, treatment of work-related injuries,and testing to determine work injury risk through a partnership with thenationally known WorkSTEPS ® program. In addition, Freeman OccuMedhas the ability to provide continuity of care for patients with work-relatedinjuries, thanks to a network of experienced and nationally recognized surgeonsand physical therapists.
The additional hours inCarthage will improve access for those seeking workers’ compensationappointments, return-to-work releases, general physicals, respiratoryphysicals, Department of Transportation physicals, and WorkSTEPS physicals.
