PITTSBURG, Ks. — Four State Farm Show organizers and Pittsburg State University officials announced on February 18 the Four State Farm Show will be hosted at PSU’s Robert W. Plaster Center in 2020, after Farm Talk Newspaper, who organizes the show, signed a multi-year contract with PSU. Officials cited one of the main reasons for the move was bad weather has sometimes created problems at the old outdoor location south of Pittsburg. Pittsburg State’s Plaster Center will also allow some vendors to have booths indoors.

PSU’s Chief Strategy Officer Shawn Naccarato says the event will bring more than $1,000,000 worth of economic impact to the Pittsburg community because of the change. Officials with the show also noted the “rural living” exhibit space in the Plaster Center allows non-agricultural companies a chance to reach consumers with their products in a designated area. The show will take place May 29, 30 and 31.
