FORT SCOTT, Kan. — Wednesday afternoon about 2:30 p.m. conditions were not favorable to repair a water main break in Fort Scott. But it’s got to be done. And it seems this crew is one to rely on.

The wind chill makes it feel about 7°.

“Fort Scott Public Works is still working to repair the water main break near North Broadway and East Pine,” the city states in a release of information.

“These folks work hard every day but today they’re earning it in a big way! Thanks to team members: Bill Lemke, Brady Coffman, Joseph Reid, Jason McReynolds, and Stanley McKeen.

“It’s unknown when the repair will be completed. We will update this article with more information as it is released by officials.
