Former Jayhawk Jackson traded to Grizzlies
Jackson was the 4th pick in the 2017 draft
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Former Kansas Jayhawk Josh Jackson is on the move in the NBA.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Phoenix Suns are sending Jackson to the Memphis Grizzlies in a four-player deal.
The Suns are sending Jackson, DeAnthony Melton and a pair of future second-round draft picks to Memphis in exchange for Kyle Korver and Jevon Carter.
Jackson was the #4 overall pick in the 2017 draft after playing one year at Kansas. He was a 1st team All-Big 12 selection and was the Big 12 Freshman of the Year in 2017.
Jackson has played two seasons in the NBA for Phoenix. In those two seasons he’s averaging 12.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. He was an NBA All-Rookie second team selection in his first year in the league in 2018.
