Ford Drive 4 UR School Program draws in donations for Joplin High School

Joplin High School students are gearing up for graduation behind the wheel as part of the Ford Drive 4 UR School Program.
Today seven different Ford models were available for free test drives.
Frank Fletcher Ford donated $20 for each drive, up to a maximum of $6,000.
All proceeds go toward the Joplin High School Project Graduation, which aims to provide the senior class with a drug and alcohol free post-graduation lock-in party.
“I think it’s really important,” said coordinator Lori Layne. “It gives us a safe place to put our seniors the night of graduation.”
“In previous years, they’ve all had such a good time,” said senior Tate Simmons. “I’ve definitely been looking forward to it as I’ve gone through high school.”
The Ford Drive 4 UR School event is part of a nationwide program.
