Folks flock to Jasper Days
JASPER, Mo. – Plenty of Four-Staters were out and about in Jasper, Missouri Saturday for the one and only Jasper Days!
The day started with a VFW breakfast and was followed by local shops and vendors taking over downtown, and then a grand parade featuring a marching band, plenty of floats, and folks throwing out candy for the kids.
One of the groups that set up a tent was the Jasper Christian Church. They were out there raising money for the church’s new playground equipment and organizers say they got a lot of support from the community.
Following the parade, Jasper Days featured a kids tractor pull and a kids pig scramble.
