Florence Ellen Bradfield, also known as “Tutti” to many, age 89, Joplin, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Florence was born on April 3, 1931 in Cabool, Missouri to the late Charlie Clifton and Pearly Ethel (Gates) Clifton. She had lived in the Joplin area most of her life. Florence was a homemaker and enjoyed being able to stay home and care for her children. All her nieces and nephews were frequent visitors who often stayed the day and sometimes all night.

Florence loved to cook and some of her family favorites were her homemade noodles and fried chicken. She loved flowers, watching birds but most of all drinking coffee and visiting with friends and family. She loved to talk! Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and she cherished the memories created with all of her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Florence was united in marriage to Lathe Edward Bradfield on June 24, 1947 Miami, Oklahoma. Together they shared 63 precious years before his passing on May 22, 2011.

In addition to her husband, Florence was also preceded in death by infant daughter Helen Bradfield; siblings Leonard Clifton, Louise Jones, Unice Helen Fleming, Jr. Leroy Clifton.

Florence is survived by her children, Sharon Bradfield, Karen Bradfield and Ernie Blackford; Steven Bradford and wife, Shelley; grandchildren, Samantha Bradfield, Cole Bradfield and wife, Ryleigh; together with several extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Parker Mortuary, Joplin with Pastor Doug Wilkerson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the mortuary from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in care of the mortuary.
