Five Softball Players Named NFCA Scholar Athletes

Five Pittsburg State softball players have been named NFCA Scholar-Athletes by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. McKenzie Rynard, Avery Beard and Devon McCreath each earned the award for the third time in the careers, while Jordan Bradshaw and Catie Cummins earned the award for the second time.

In order to be named an NFCA Scholar-Ahtlete, softball players must have at least a 3.5 GPA and be nominated by their coach.

4,687 softball players from all three NCAA divisions, NAIA, junior colleges and high schools were recognized. Division II had 695 athletes honored.
