Fishing and hunting show grooms future outdoorsmen and women

Kids have fun at the hunting and fishing show

The Albers Marine 14th Annual Fishing & Hunting Show drew in a big crowd over the weekend.

Twenty-five vendors ranging in variety from taxidermy to ammo and bait, filled the Memorial Auditorium in Pittsburg.

The event was free and open to everyone of all ages.

Kids enjoyed checking out the latest boats and hunting vehicles. Organizers hope the kids who came out today will go on to become the next generation of hunters in the 4-State area.

“Hope to try to pass out as many free giveaway plastics and stuff and get as many younger people involved in fishing as we can, because that’s the future of what I like to do in the outdoors,” said Kyle Kiister with Albers Marine.

If your business is interested in becoming a vendor next year, you can reach out to Albers Marine which is based in Arma, Kansas.
