Fireworks can only be possessed and used in the city limits on July 1 st through July 4 th . In addition, bottle rockets are not allowed to be possessed or used by anyone at any time in the city limits. We also want to remind everyone about some fireworks safety tips.

· Leave fireworks to adults.

· Take advantage of the many public displays of fireworks that will be in our area.

· Sparklers burn at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. Glass melts at 900 degrees.

· Make sure that fireworks are pointed in a safe direction and away from houses and trees.

· Never shoot fireworks at people or from a vehicle.

We want everyone to have a safe and happy Independence Day celebration.
