Fire Marshall involved in death investigation at a Joplin home
JOPLIN, Mo. — Police investigate a man found dead inside a Joplin home. Authorities say there were signs of a fire inside.
The Joplin Police Dispatch received a call today for a well-being check. Around 12:55 pm, METS ambulance service and Joplin Fire Department arrived at 310 S. Forest Avenue and found a deceased adult male.
Joplin Police Investigators responded to conduct a death investigation along with the Joplin Fire Marshall. Authorities say there were signs of a fire inside the home.
An autopsy will be conducted as part of the investigation.
