JOPLIN, Mo - Patrick Tuttle of the Joplin Convention & Visitors Bureau stops by the KOAM Studio to discuss the storied history of the Stanley Cup and how you can experience history.
The St. Louis Blues brought the won the Stanley Cup for the first time in their organizations long history in June of 2019, bringing the historic trophy to the state of Missouri for the first time ever.
Patrick talks about the history of the cup and about how its the only trophy in major sports that there is only one of.
You can see the cup in person at the 1st floor of Joplin City Hall from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 11th. Guests are asked to enter through the west door on the Joplin Avenue side fo the building. This event will accommodate as many people as possible to view the trophy in the two-hour time-frame. Guests may have their photo taken next to it, however, the trophy cannot be picked up or moved.
