Meditation can mean a lot of things, but one important aspect of meditation is finding rhythm, rather that be through singing bowls, dancing, or any other method that works best for you.  The main goal is to achieve relaxation.

Some of the benefits of meditation include increased focus since it stimulates the brain, as well as a fuller and deeper sleep, but the main benefit is an overall reduction of stress.
