Joplin greenhouse interview

Curt Carr, owner of Joplin Greenhouse, stops in the studio to show how to carry your green thumb into fall and turn it into a growing season.

Mums and pansies still grow great in the fall while also adding color for when the leaves start falling.  They also come in a wide swathe of colors to compliment the changing season.

The two plants are also both edible.  The flower head of the mums can be eaten or added to food for extra flavor as well as eating the pedals of the pansies.  Mums can also last all winter and grow back during the spring.

Joplin Greenhouse and Coffee Shop is located at 2820 E 32nd Street in Joplin, Missouri.  They're open Monday through Saturday from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. and on Sunday from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M.
