Jesse goes live from the polls in Joplin where he talks with the Jasper County Clerk Charley Davis. There the two talk about what goes into making an election run smoothly.
The city contacted Charley several months prior to the election to get the Proposition B initiative on the ballot. The final votes won't be in and tallied until closer to 9 P.M. on election night.
In order to go through the process smoothly as a voter, you'll need to bring a drivers license or a voter I.D. card to the polls with you. Other forms of I.D. will work. Something like a bill can even get you into the polls.
The two also talk about how technology has changed the voting process.
