Crafting stained glass creations

Art Forms Stained Glass Interview

Diana Miller of Art Forms Gallery shows us how to craft some stained glass creations from the comfort of your own home.

Diana uses the Tiffany method of stained glass creation; a technique created by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900's where copper foil and solder are used to join pieces of glass together.

To begin, you find your design and cut your glass out in the proper shapes.  You then line the outside of the glass with copper foil, which also holds your pieces of glass together until you solder them together with 60/40 solder.

Art Forms Gallery will be hosting a stained glass workshop on July 24th until August 21st.  All tools and supplies will be included.  The enrollment fee is $150.
