Fall comes early in Pittsburg for annual Fall Festival
PITTSBURG, Kan. – Fall is just around the corner and Pittsburg is celebrating early.
The Barn at Timber Cove hosted the 2021 Fall Festival in Pittsburg. Admission was free for everybody, with the theme to shop local business. The festival provides the opportunity for local businesses to show various crafts and foods to the community. With the ongoing pandemic, some vendors look to the festival to get new customers.
Jordan Muter, owner of The Barn says “A lot of these vendors were extremely affected by everything that’s been going on pretty much the past two years, so they had a lot of shows be cancelled, there’s a lot of people who have customers come back every time we have events out here, a lot of my vendors have been with me since the beginning and I do get new vendors every show, so, it’s great for building their clientele and to be able to see some of our community members come out and support other people.”
Goodies and snacks were provided to attendees, and several food trucks were in attendance as well such as Ghetto Tacos and Blue Spoon. Muter says there will be a holiday themed festival coming up in December.
