Drivers cruise Route 66

BAXTER SPRINGS, Mo. – There’s nothing quite like a Sunday drive, especially on Route 66.

Some drivers in Baxter Springs got their kicks cruising along the Mother Road to wrap up the car weekend hosted at the annual Cow Town Days Celebration.

Car lovers are traveling 150 miles round trip, taking off from the car museum in Baxter Springs.

For one driver, the experience is a blast from the past.

“…It’s kinda like a jump in time, you know, people just go out for cruises. I know, for me, it’s not as fun in a normal car….but, if you have a classic, it just makes it that much more fun,” said Taylor Siegret with KMO Cruisers.

This drive is hosted by the KMO Cruisers based in Galena, Kansas.
